What is included in a pop up picnic?

We have two packages: the Urban Earth & Boho Pop Up Picnic Packages, both include seating, decor, food & drink for you and your guests plus all setup & cleanup. Food: Order a charcuterie board for the table and dessert from Graze & Gather KC. Drink: Alkaline antioxidant water, Kombucha or sparkling water.

How do i select a location?

Choose from one of our Pop Up Picnics KC preferred locations or email us to discuss special locations. We can't accommodate all locations but we will sure try! Our top 3 FAV af locations include: * Nelson Atkins Lawn, Downtown * Longview Lake, South KCMO * Antioch Park, Kansas

Does Pop Up Picnic Co Stay During Our PIcnic

Most of the time, Yes! But sometimes we leave to set up another picnic and return just in time for your picnic to end. If you need us during your picnic, you can call or text the number provided in your confirmation email.

Do I need A Permit?

That depends on the location, number of people, and a few other factors! Pop Up Picnics KC do not require a permit at any of our preferred locations. If you request a special spot, we'll let you know if you need a permit and can help with that process!

What are the food options?

We work with only local catering companies that work only in Commercial Kitchens. We are currently working with Graze and Gather KC as our exclusive grazing board provider! They have vegetarian and Keto options upon request.

What is your cancellation policy?

We don't offer refunds but we will be more than happy to reschedule your picnic or issue a credit with enough advanced notice. **For parties of 2, 3, 4, or 5 guests: No refunds. Full credit up to 72 hours in advance, we charge a 50% cancelation fee. Same-day cancellations and no shows will not be issued a credit. **For parties of 25+ guests: no refunds; changes and cancellations made 2 weeks or more in advance will be issued a full credit; cancellations or changes made within 14 days of the picnic will not be issued a credit.

Is my dog welcome?

Of course! But your doggo must obey all leash laws.

What about bad weather?

We do live in the Midwest, we sometimes have to change dates due to weather. If weather looks like it might affect your reservation, we will contact you in advance to discuss your options. There is no cancellation charge for rescheduling your picnic due to inclement weather.
